WHAT'S ON THE MENU?
Find out what’s happening at these select Wisconsin locations for the holidays and 2023
by Jamie Randall
There is nothing quite like winter in Wisconsin. Snow in the backyard, warming up by the fire. With winter comes preparation for the holiday season, and at the heart of it is a good meal. A good meal warms the heart, and that feeling can be shared with loved ones. The holidays are for keeping tradition but also for trying something new every once in a while. These five Wisconsin locations offer special events and deals for the holidays and 2023.
A “Miracle” Comes to Lucille
Lucille decks out for the holiday season from Nov. 21 to Dec. 24 with its annual pop-up event called “Miracle on King Street.” The restaurant transforms for the season, from its menu to the interior and exterior of the building, Lucille goes all out for the holidays. “There will be an eggnog-type drink. There’ll be martinis, there’s one called a Chrismapolitan … and they’re all served in special glassware. We have little mugs that are like Santa heads and all Christmas-themed glassware as well,” says Lucille’s General Manager Chloe Christiaansen. For food, Lucille is working on a soup and burrata dish for “Miracle,” as well as a flavorful new pizza that will leave guests wanting more.
